Laser Cutting
Alma Engineering provides high-precision laser cutting services using advanced 6kW fibre laser technology. Our modern capability allows us to accurately cut both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, delivering efficient, cost-effective solutions for a wide range of industries. We can cut Stainless and Mild Steel up to 30mm, Aluminium up to 25mm, Brass up to 18mm, and Copper up to 10mm, making us well suited for both one-off prototypes and large production batches.
Our laser cutting facility is equipped with the latest Mitsubishi fibre laser technology, designed for reliability, energy efficiency, and environmentally responsible manufacturing. Cutting approximately 90% of the time using compressed air, we achieve clean, high-quality edges while reducing energy consumption. Programming is carried out using Lantek nesting software and Mitsubishi MEL’S AR technology to maximise material utilisation and maintain competitive pricing.
We stock common materials including Stainless Steel 304 & 316, Mild Steel S275, Copper C101, and Brass CZ108 & CZ121, all supplied with full traceability and certification. Every component is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ensuring consistent quality and precision on every project.
